Data Reference for Librarians

Do you have patrons or community partners that need data to support their work? Students asking for quantitative data for their research papers? Are you writing a grant proposal for your library? Come to this training to learn the federal and local resources at your disposal and why you need them. Understand Census terminology and apply your knowledge to real requests for information using tools such as American FactFinder and the Bureau of Labor Statistics applications. Class is presentation-based; personal devices welcome. Presented by Aryn Dagirmanjian of SLRC.
