Yeah, we’ve got a fake news problem. In libraries and classrooms, the skills of curation and information literacy are more important than ever. Let’s move beyond the ALL CAPS and imagine a future of factiness by leveraging students’ natural humor, creativity, curiosity, and sense of fairness to reimagine information literacy learning.

Participants will:Examine information literacy and curation as essential skills for both students and educators; Explore useful tools, resources, and strategies which promote creativity, inquiry, and critical thinking;Connect ISTE, Future Ready, and AASL standards to information literacy and knowledge construction learning.
