YALSA Transforming Teen Services:"Ages & Stages and Making Connections"
Understanding the Ages & Stages of our tweens/teens as they develop and connect their interests with peers and opportunity (Connected Learning) can enrich our interactions and engagement with youth.
In this virtual workshop, participants will scaffold their knowledge about youth development and Connected Learning and use it to build robust, informal learning opportunities and stronger relationships with teens.

Workshop Outcomes -- Participants will be able to:
-Identify the various stages of child development
-Name the principles of Connected Learning
-Explain how to take CL theory and apply it for library teen services
CE credit: 2 hours
