Explicit and Implicit Biases in Early Childhood Education: Becoming Aware of Microaggressions (Early Childhood Investigations)

In this presentation we will explore how biases and microaggressions delivered intentionally or unintentionally can cause a rift in teacher-family partnership and staff relationships. Using real life examples, we will examine different types of microaggressions, their potential messages and impacts on the recipients.
