Meetings
January 22, 2009
"Marketing Library Databases" on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 2:00-3:30 am will be the next meeting which will be conducted online. We will be discussing ways to promote databases and share what it is currently working in our library systems, as well as examine some ways libraries are using Flickr and YouTube to market their services.
March 25, 2009
Spring meeting of the marketing team with a presentation from Amy Billing, coordinator for CESAR, Center for Substance Abuse Research, who is promoting the Maryland Community Services Locator.
June 25, 2009
Summer meeting included the distribution of Baltimore Oriole tickets with all systems receiving 80 tickets per branch.
September 15, 2009
Summer Reading Wrap up at the Perry Hall Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library. The special education display kickoff will occur around 11:00 a.m.
December 9, 2009
The Maryland Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped will host the winter meeting at their location on Park avenue in Baltimore City. Attendees will tour the library with emphasis on the new children's area.
